Carrol Hahn
(Died September 19, 2016)

Our beloved husband and father, Carrol Hahn, 91 years of age entered eternal life on Monday, September 19, 2016. He was surrounded by his wife of 66 years, Vivian Olivia and family. Including his daughters, Kathleen Wan, Terry Reed and Cynthia Scoggins, their spouses and 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Carrol was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Hahn, brother Howard and sister Verna Lee Hoffman. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews. Carrol was born and raised in Mason Texas. He graduated Sr. Class president of Mason High School and received his degree from Texas A&M, where he was a medalist cross country runner. He served in the US Navy during WW II as a radio instructor. Most of his adult life was spent teaching what he was passionate about¬-math and science. After retiring from teaching, he returned to Mason and built his current home. He loved to fish and spent many a summer on the Llano River camping with his family. One of his joys in life was watching the many birds and deer in his yard. In memory of Carrol's love of cats, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in honor of Carrol be made to Second Chance Animal Rescue of Mason Tx. Donations can made online at www.secondchancemason.com. A family memorial service at their home is being planned for a later date. We are thankful for the prayers and support from the community and the loving care of Country Health, Kingsland Hills Nursing Home in Kingsland TX and the Altus Hospice.
