Maricarmen Quiroz-Octaviano, 21, of College Station, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016. She was born in Tejupilco, Mexico on April 16, 1995.
Maricarmen graduated from Reagan High School in Austin, Texas and was a senior studying Genetics at Texas A&M University. She would have graduated May 2017.
Maricarmen worked as a promotions assistant at Radio Alegria 1240 AM each Saturday morning. She also volunteered at a nursing home in Bryan.
She was always happy and smiling. She loved to talk about school and her friends. Her hobbies included being on her computer discovering new things and playing with her puppy, "Penny", who she had adopted and is with her family. Everything she did she did with
passion and happiness. Her happiness was contagious whenever she walked into a room. Having earned her Aggie ring last spring, Maricarmen was always so proud to show it off.
Maricarmen is survived by her parents, Tomas Quiroz and Maria Octaviano, as well as, three brothers and two sisters, Tomas 20, Norberto 18, Jennifer 16, Charlie 13 and Gardenia 6. She also leaves behind grandparents and many other loving relatives and many
dear friends.
There will be a visitation between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with funeral liturgy services following at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September, 25, 2016 at the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/Memorial
Hill Cemetery.
