Miller, Elizabeth Ann

September 22, 1933 - August 27, 2016

Liz Miller, deeply in love with Christ Jesus her Savior, the proudest of moms, grandmoms and great-grandmoms, loyal cousin, trusted friend, champion of education, 4th generation Texan, bleed-maroon-Aggie and cheering Longhorn (unless they were playing A & M), is off on the adventure of her life. Saturday, August 27th, she went to meet her Savior, Face-to-face, and reunite with family and friends who have gone before. Her life on earth was boot camp for greater things in the Heavenly Father's plans.

Liz was the treasured daughter and only child of Judge and Mrs. Otis Miller, who preceded her in death. She delighted in the fact that, though an only child, she went on to have three children, three granddaughters, two grandsons, four great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, and well-chosen in-laws. She leaves behind, in her estimation, the most amazing family: daughter, Saralyn Morris and her husband, Bill; son, Kyle McNew and his wife Michele; and son, Loc McNew and his wife Courtenay; granddaughters, Celeste Gossman and her husband, Travis; Holland Morris, and Janette McNew-Hickerson and her husband Brantley; grandsons, Miller McNew and Murphy McNew.

Liz's life, love, and influence will be celebrated 11:30 am, Thursday, September 8, at A&M United Methodist Church, College Station, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Texas A&M Foundation, with "Liz Miller Legacy for Learning endowment" in the memo line, or to the charity of your choosing.
