Jan Scott
"Jay Scott"
Zwolinski
1954 - 2016

Jan Scott Zwolinski
Born May 12, 1954 and departed this life Monday, August 8th, 2016 to meet his God and join his parents, Margery and Bruno Zwolinski. Jan was also known by his nickname ”Jay Scott” and was well known in the greater Greenville S.C. real estate community, as well as in the state of Texas, as a successful and knowledgeable licensed real estate broker.
Jan graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, Texas and then attended Texas A&M University where he graduated with a BS in Geography.
Jan was a great fan of all genres of music, had an extensive collection of music and frequented live music concerts his entire life. He also invested in and co-produced many concerts over the past 40 years of his life. One of Jan’s greatest passions was his love of automobiles which he collected and then restored for resale, but somehow many remained in his collection. Before he graduated high
school Jan owned several cars, some of which were real collector’s cars.
As a real estate broker, Jan was involved with many of the finest residential resort developments in the United States, as well as several international real estate projects in Mexico and Central America. Throughout Jan’s career, he was a top leader in sales volume and customer service which is reflected in his successful career. Well ahead of the health food supplement industry, Jan and his former life partner of 18 years, Jennifer Hacker, developed an international Herbalife network where he made many lifelong friends in Mexico, South America and Europe. Jan was always a health conscious man and practiced living his life eating healthfully and taking a regimen of health supplements daily. Whether known as Jan Scott Zwolinski or “Jay Scott” he will be missed by many close friends and relatives. Jan was always there as a “friend in deed for friends in need”. Without a doubt he was a well-traveled, well-read and worldly man of great intelligence and integrity. Jan is survived by and will be greatly missed by his former life partner Jennifer Hacker, her son David Frank Hacker, who Jan loved and raised as his own, brother Jeff Zwolinski, sister in-law Barbara, nephew Joseph and sister Maria Zwolinski, relatives, his best friend of 52 years Henry Altman and his family, along with dozens of other friends and business associates. May God continue to bless his soul and look after him; Jan was loved by many people in his all too short life.
