Elsa Maria Villarreal, 53, of Houston, Texas passed away on August 28, 2016.

Elsa was born in Houston to Mario Enrique and Amelia Osuna Villarreal on January 8, 1963. She graduated from Channelview High School in 1981. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accounting in 1985. Elsa worked as a Commercial Manager for AGL Resources. She was kind, generous, thoughtful, and had a positive impact on everyone she met, especially her nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children. Her hobbies included traveling all over the world, bicycling, and cooking wonderful meals for her family and friends. She lived her life to the fullest on her terms similar to the lyrics of the Frank Sinatra song "I did it my way". Elsa had a strong faith in God and was at peace when the Lord called her home. It was a blessing to have her in our lives, and she will be missed dearly.

Elsa is preceded in death by her father, Mario E Villarreal and her sister, Maria De Jesus Villarreal.

Elsa is survived by her mother: Amelia O Villarreal, Brothers and Sisters: Mario E. and Tricia F. Villarreal; Felicitas Villarreal Gamboa and Conrado D. Gamboa, and Nieces: Angelica Villarreal and Monica Gamboa, and Nephews: C. David Gamboa, Cristian Gamboa, Joseph Villarreal and Mario (Enrique) Villarreal III.
Pallbearers will be her brothers and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5pm, Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, Grand Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Saint Andrews Catholic Church in Channelview, Tx. Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
