Ronald Darwin Perry, 68, of Spring, Texas, passed away August 17, 2016 after a long battle with diabetes and kidney failure.
Ron was a native Houstonian, born on March 19, 1948 to Darwin and Alline Perry. He attended Spring High School and graduated in 1970 from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Finance. He was a proud Aggie alumnus.
He worked for his family's business, Spring Body Shop – Perry's Wrecker Service, for many years.
Ron became a Bank Examiner for the FDIC, then returned to school and graduated with honors from South Texas College of Law.
After graduation, Ron was an Assistant City Attorney for the City of San Angelo, Texas. He later opened his own private practice in his home town of Spring, Texas.
He was married to Donna Marie Keeling on December 25, 1982.
He was on the board of the Spring Volunteer Fire Department for many years and had a passion for real estate investing and watching FOX News.
Ron is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna; son, Ron Perry, Jr., and his wife, Heather Perry; granddaughter, Blair Perry; two brothers, Danny Perry and Monte Perry; two sisters, Kim Pysell and Karen Kuhlman; many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ron's caregivers for many years, Anyisel "Angie" Brito and Gloria Padilla.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the , PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or www.diabetes.org.
