Dudley Charles Schwab
January 14, 1962 - August 04, 2016

Dudley Charles Schwab passed away on August 4, 2016 at the age of 54. A lifelong resident of Guadalupe County, Dudley was born on January 14, 1962 in Seguin Texas. He was a 1980 graduate of Marion High School and a 1984 graduate of Texas A & M University where he graduated with a degree in Mechanized Agriculture. Dudley was a farmer, a rancher, and a Senior Field Underwriter for Texas Farm Bureau. He was a ten year member of the Guadalupe County 4H and was recognized as a Gold Star Winner and State Award Winner. He was also recognized as Outstanding Guadalupe County Young Farmer. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Kurt and Erna Schwab, his maternal grandparents, Louis and Hulda Altenhof, his uncle, Howard Altenhof, and his cousin, Russell Altenhof. Dudley is survived by his loving wife, Tina Schwab; his daughter, Sabina Schwab; his parents, Vernon and Lulu Mae Schwab; his brother Robert Schwab; his sisters, Genevieve Moore and husband Mark, and Janice Schwab Mann; aunt, Dorothy Altenhof; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sid and Kaye Hoermann; sister-in-law, Debbie Watt and husband Al; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek, with private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to the building fund of Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek, 3305 Church Rd., Seguin, TX 78155.
