CLOUSE, Jennifer Lewis 1972 - 2016 Jennifer Lee Lewis Clouse went to be home with her Lord and Savior on August 9, 2016 at the age of 44 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Dallas, TX on February 20, 1972. She is survived by her husband Scott Clouse, their five-year-old son Lincoln, her mother Jane Lewis, paternal grandmother Lavonia Lewis, stepmother Sharon Lewis Mayer and her husband Paul Mayer, half-brothers David Lewis, Chris Lewis, Josh Lewis, and step grandmother Ann Jones. She was preceded in death by her father Mike Lewis. She also leaves behind an uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends who deeply loved her and will greatly miss her. Jennifer grew up in Garland, TX and graduated from First Baptist Academy in 1990. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1994. Jennifer went on to pursue a career in business consulting where she worked for Arthur Andersen, Protiviti and eventually she began her own consulting business. Her love for God's Word eventually led her to Dallas Theological Seminary, where she earned her master's degree in order to teach His truth more effectively. Jen embraced life in all its fullness from running marathons to loving kids in Africa, from teaching women's Bible study to serving in inner city ministries. She will be remembered by how she loved God, His word, and people. Whether you just met her, or knew Jen for years, she always made you feel known and loved. Jen's family and friends will be celebrating her life Friday, August 12th, at 10am at Watermark Community Church, 7540 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Dallas, 75251.
