Ralph Warren Kurz
Ralph Warren Kurz, 63, was called home by his Lord and Savior on July 26, 2016. He was born on January 26, 1953 in Morris, Illinois to William Bernard Kurz and Betty Jean De Pompea.
Ralph was a dedicated husband, father, counselor and friend to so many. He loved teaching Sunday School and spending time with his beloved cows.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Jean Kurz.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joni Kurz; daughter, Kelly (Ryan) Yates; sons, Justin (Jessica) Kurz and Michael (Shauna) Kurz; two sisters and one brother, David (Pam) Kurz, Kim (Mark) Schrader, Barbara (Mike) Marcum; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ralph’s life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the Rafter K Ranch, County Road 1918, Odem, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ralph Kurz Memorial Scholarship Fund for the San Patricio County A&H Commercial Heifer Show. Contributions can be sent in Ralph’s memory to P.O. Box 29, Odem, TX, 78370.
