Funeral services for John Deloy McDonald II, 83, of Montgomery will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jack Treend officiating. Interment will be in Land of Memories Cemetery, Palestine, TX. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, 2004 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mr. McDonald was born on July 10, 1921 in Palestine, Texas and passed away on November 15, 2004 in Montgomery, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII.

John is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeanette McDonald of Montgomery; daughter, Mary Ann Palmer and husband Bob of Spring; sons, John Deloy McDonald III and wife Lynda of Needville and David B. McDonald and wife Gloria of Los Angeles, California; grandchildren, Jana McDonald, J. W. McDonald, Christina McDonald, Melissa McDonald, Penny Anderson, and Rob Palmer; great grandchildren, Megan Anderson and Stewart Anderson. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
