Billy Bob White
June 27, 1959 - October 17, 2008

Billy Bob White, 49, of Big Spring, gone to be with his Lord on Friday, October 17, 2008, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 20, 2008, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. to 5 P.M. Sunday, October 19 at the funeral home.He was born on June 27, 1959, in Big Spring, Texas. He grew up in Big Spring, attended Big Spring schools and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1977. He then graduated from Texas A & M in 1980 with a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science. He worked as a banker with Texas Commerce Bank in Houston. Billy Bob returned to Big Spring in 1999 and worked in the family business for the last eight years at B & R Septic. He married Sherry Dianne Willmon on February 27, 2004 in Big Spring. He was active with his children in Boy Scouts and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Dianne White of Big Spring; three sons, Kip David White of College Station, Jacob Daniel White of San Marcos, and Mike Cooke and wife, Denise of Stanton; one daughter, Amy Lane and husband, Ben of Stanton; his father, Billy Ray White and his mother, Norma Joyce White both of Big Spring; one brother, Leslie Ray White of Big Spring; 6 grandchildren; two uncles, Freddie Cad White and wife, Sherry of Athens, Georgia, Terry Dale Burchett of Midland; three aunts, Emma Lee Bogard and husband, Stanley of Big Spring, Bobbie Leonard and husband, Dulene of Big Spring and Mrs. L.W. Burchett of Midland; and his step grandmother, Helen Louise White of Stephenville. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kip Brandon White and one daughter, Anna Day White.The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Midland, 911 W. Texas, Midland, Texas 79702 or to Allison Cancer Center, 301 North N, Midland, Texas 79701.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
