William Lloyd Moore Sr.
William Lloyd Moore, Sr., age 81 of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, Texas. William was born on July 7, 1930 in Alvin, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. He was a teacher and a member of Christian Temple Assembly of God Church. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. William was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nettie Moore.
William is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anna Moore, daughter, Dori Rhoades and husband, Russell, son, William Moore, Jr., 1 grandson, Reid Rhoades, numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Christian Temple Assembly of God Church (CT Church) with Rev. Don Nordin officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery, Pearland, Texas.
