Sam "Sonny" Hendler, Jr.
January 7, 1931 - May 17, 2016
Sam K (Sonny) Hendler, Jr, age 85, of Temple, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at a local hospital. He was born on January 7, 1931 in Temple the son of Sam Sr. and Leah Goldberg Hendler. Sonny served in the United States Air Force, graduated from Texas A&M University, and was the owner/operator of Hendler’s in Temple. He is survived by his wife Elaine Chandler, nephew Ren Maupin, and cousins Barry Hendler and Marsha Hendler. Per Sonny’s wishes, no services will be held.
