Carol Ann Farley Kincannon

Carol Ann Farley Kincannon, age 56, passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side on May 23, 2016 after a long Battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer. She was born to James and Gwen (Mann) Farley, [July] 7, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Conroe High School in 1977, graduated from Texas A&M with a BBA in Marketing in 1981, and the University of Houston in 1984 with a Masters of Elementary Education. Carol was a unique and gifted teacher combining her marketing and teaching skills in such a way that made children want to learn. She was employed by CISD for 32 years as a teacher and literacy coach. She married Charles Kincannon in 1986 and together they raised Joshua Kincannon and Keely Kincannon, grandchildren Drake and Ruby Kincannon and niece Christine Chevis. She was an amazing wife and unselfishly dedicated mother. Carol was a people person who enjoyed life. She was a kind, gentle, forgiving, generous woman of faith who enriched the life's of everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her mother Gwen (Mann) Farley, sister Katy (Farley) Chevis. She is survived by her husband Charles Kincannon, children Joshua and Keely, grandchildren Drake and Ruby Kincannon and Roger Decker III, niece Christine Chevis, Carol's father James Farley, brother Hunt Farley and wife Laurabeth, sister Sarah Little and husband Dawson and their children Taylor and Wesley. A service to commemorate her life will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00am in the chapel at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to: The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Brain Tumor Center, P.O. Box 4486 Houston, TX 77210-4486.
