Funeral services for Roger Frank Alexander, 81, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with David Wilson and John Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in the Alexander Cemetery in Leggett, Texas. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Alexander was born November 12, 1934 in New Willard, Texas to parents, Archie Bryant Alexander and Allie Maude (Rogers) Alexander, and passed away May 20, 2016 in Humble, Texas. During his life, he graduated from Texas A&M University and the Fightin’ Texas Class of 1956. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mamie Alexander; and brothers, A.B. Alexander Jr. and Mike Alexander.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brent Alexander and Jamie of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Jana Alexander Lowe of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Bryan David Butler and Shelby of Belton, Texas; granddaughter, Aubri Alexander of College Station, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Shepherd and Roger of Woodville, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Wilson and David of Livingston, Texas; nieces and nephews, Todd Reily and family, Grady Reily and family, Brad Shepherd and family, and Jamie Vardeman and family; extended family, Amy Erickson and family and James Lee Clarke and family; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
