David Dean Knepper
1952-2016
David Dean Knepper, 63, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on May 17, 2016 after a sudden battle with cancer. He was born October 10, 1952 in Fort Worth, TX. He was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University in 1975. Gig 'em! In 1977, he and Beth moved to Houston, TX where he began his career as a Professional Petroleum Engineer in the oil and gas industry. His mother, Josephine Jeanne Chavanel, preceded him in death.
He leaves behind the love of his life Beth and two daughters; Lyndsay Janssen, husband Mike and their children Bentley and Baylee, and Karly Martin, husband Chris and their children Chase and Layla. His Father Roy Knepper & wife Pat, brother Rick Knepper & Lisa, and sister Kathy Moynihan & husband Andy as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that he cherished.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be forever remembered for his love of golf, storytelling, tennis, softball, charities, dancing, and fellowship. He will be surely missed by all those who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on May 24, 2016 at 10:30am at Cypress Creek Christian Church. See http://www.legacy.com/funerals/acremation-rockwall/ for details and to leave loving memories.
Reception to follow at the Church. Dedications can be made to the Church in honor of David.
