Jarrell, Lajuana "Lane" Kelley

November 25, 1958 - May 5, 2016
Lane passed away peacefully at the age of 57 on May 5th, 2016 after a courageous six year battle with ovarian cancer.
Although she passed on to eternal life, her spirit will be carried on in the lives of her beloved sons, Matt & Steve Jarrell, and her grandson Raiken.

She grew up in Belton, Texas but lived in College Station, Texas for many years. A wise person once said, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." This was so true of our beloved Lane. She was an incredibly loving, hard-working, and loyal person.

She graduated from Belton High School in 1977 and completed her B.S. in sociology from Texas A&M in 2014 in the midst of her illness. She was volunteered as a child advocate and was a medical transcriptionist for St. Joseph's Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her former husband, Ken Jarrell, her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. David Martinson, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, hosts of friends and faithful canine companions, Chloe and Canyon.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Lane's honor.
