Steven Kent Murray began his eternal life on April 28, 2016. He was born on February 2, 1963, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Harold Robert Murray, Jr. and Anna Louise Ransom Murray. He married Rebecca White on November 14, 1998, in Houston, Texas, and was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Julie Ann Murray, born on August 23, 2005.Born the fourth boy in a family of five children, Steven was a sweet, gentle peace-keeper. His contagious and beautiful smile, his love of life and awesome laughter, will be remembered by everyone who knew him. Steven's kind spirit and easy-going nature were attributes which earned him nicknames of "Even Steven" and "good-lookin'" by close family. His most cherished moments were spent with family, from growing up with amazing grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, to his final years with his family and his wife Becky's close family. He was so very proud of his daughter, Julie, her exuberance for life, her artwork and her love of her dad. Steven's closest friends are those with whom he grew up in Houston, a testament to his kindness and loyalty. He will be truly missed by everyone who was blessed to have known him. After graduating from Memorial High School in Houston in 1981, Steven attended Texas A&M University, graduating with a degree in Finance in 1986. He was a proud Aggie for life . Steven was honored to work for 22 years with his brother Robert in the real estate appraisal business.Steven was preceded in death by his father, Harold Robert Murray, Jr. Steven is survived by his wife, Rebecca J. Murray; daughter Julie Ann Murray; mother, Anna Louise Ransom Murray, of Georgetown, Texas; brother, H. Robert Murray, III. , and wife Rebecca, of Katy, Texas; brother Scott Murray, of Galveston, Texas; brother Brent C. Murray and wife Katharine, of Jupiter, Florida; sister, Jennifer McKay, and husband Andy, of Georgetown, Texas; nieces and nephews Allison Duarte, Maxwell Murray, Brandy Campbell, Michael McKay, Margaret McKay, and Maya McKay.
