Roy C. Morrison, 93, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, surrounded by his loving family.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Burial: Bourland Cemetery in Keller. Visitation: The family will receive friends prior to the service.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Assistance Network, 6924 Glenview Drive, North Richand Hills, Texas 76180.
Roy was born July 11, 1915, in Brown County. He was a teacher in Arlington and other Texas schools. He attended Howard Payne and Texas A&M. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Roy was a member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church.
During his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Survivors: Stepson, Richard Lee Williams and wife, Suzanne; stepdaughters-in-law, Doris Williams and Jeannie Williams; and stepson-in-law, Richard Sells.
