Wendell Clarke
March 6, 1920 - April 24, 2016

Wendell Lee Clarke, of Waco, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, at Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Littlepage Funeral Home.

On March 6, 1920, Mr. Clarke was born in Waco to William Travis Clarke, Sr. and Julia Louise Merrill Clarke. After graduating from Waco High School, he attended Texas A&M University, from which he received a BS degree. For most of his life he was a resident of Waco, where he was affectionately known as "Mr. Blue" because he always wore a blue Dickies shirt and pants.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother, William Travis Clarke, Jr. His survivors include his cousin, Martha Findley of Houston; and his friend and caretaker, Robert Guerrero of Waco.
