A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Dorsey Dwain Blue will be held Tuesday March 31, 2015 at the Woman's Club of Grand Prairie, at 1:00pm. 1 Park Square North. He will be laid to rest with military honors at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000
Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas, 75211 immediately following the memorial service. Donations may be made in memory of Dorsey Blue to the Association of Former Students at Texas A&M.

Dorsey Dwain Blue of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away at the Medical Center of Arlington on March 22, 2015, in the loving arms of his wife and surrounded by his family. Dorsey was born in Hamilton, Texas to Clancy and Edna Blue on July 7, 1937. He was a proud
Aggie, graduating from Texas A&M University in 1961 with a degree in Industrial Technology. He served on active duty in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963, stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. He continued to serve his country as a tank commander in the Texas National
Guard, 49th Armor Division, 3rd Brigade. He won the Top Gun Award in the summer of 1984. He retired at the rank of Lt. Colonel in 1986. Dorsey was an equipment engineer with Bell Helicopter for 47 years working on multiple projects with the U.S. government
and many other countries, retiring in September 2009. Dorsey loved his military and Bell Helicopter careers. He worked hard while enjoying his jobs and made many lifelong cherished friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clancy and Edna Blue of Hamilton Texas. Dorsey is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Jeanne Blue, his son Shawn ( Traci ) Blue, his daughters Linn ( Patrick ) Moore, Lisa ( David ) Williams, Jill ( Greg ) Stover;
grandchildren Robert Blue, Cameron Cummins, Kyle and Kane Williams, Matthew and Madison Stover, and great-grandchildren; Alex Alomar and Noello Castillo as well as many friends and family who loved and will miss him.
