DONALD DENNY Donald Lee Denny, 52, died peacefully at home Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008. He fought a long, courageous battle with leukemia, all the while being the best husband, father and friend one could ask for. Don will be missed by many. It is comforting to know that he is with our Heavenly Father, no longer in pain. He was preceded in death by his baby son, Max; and his father, Robert Denny. Don is survived by his wife, Lisa; his children, Victoria and Jonathan; his mother, Georgia Denny; his brother and his family, Gary, Jeri, Michael and Audra; and many other relatives and friends. Burial services were held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas, where Don was born and grew up. A celebration of Don's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2 S. Pecos Road in Henderson, where he and his family lived for the past 12 years. Thank you for the many prayers that have been prayed over the years for Don and our family. In lieu, of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. "The Lord is good.
