BROGDON, Thomas R. Thomas R. Brogdon, born October 8, 1922 Quitman, Texas went home to be with his Lord on Thursday January 22, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Brogdon; his wife Wanda of 63 years, six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving daughter Deborah Brogdon as well as many family members. He was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Army, assigned to the 327 Field Artillery Battalion 84th Infantry Division serving in France, Belgium and Germany. Tom graduated from Texas A&M in 1950 with a B. S. in Animal Husbandry. He was employed with the Ft. Worth District Corps of Engineers in 1960 retiring in 1986. Tom was a loving husband and father. He loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Rodgers Baptist Church. Services will be at the Rodgers Baptist Church, 801 W. Buckingham, Garland, Texas 75040 on Monday morning. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. Services at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, Texas. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rodgers Baptist Church.
