Constantine (Gus) Xeros(1926 - 2014)

XEROS, Constantine (Gus) Constantine (Gus) Xeros born Constantine Michael Xeros, August 19, 1926 in Dallas, Texas. Passed away November 20, 2014 in Dallas, Texas, joining his beloved predeceased wife Kathryn. Survived by daughter Julia Constance Xeros, grandson Freedom Ha, all of Garland, Texas. Step Grand Daughter Lina Ha Stone of Washington, DC, Son Peter Constantine Xeros of Salt Lake City, Utah. Siblings, Chris Peter and Basil Peter Xeros. Of immigrant parents, he is a long time member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Dallas, having served his parish in several capacities. Holy Trinity was his beloved church for everything in his life.Graduate of Texas A&M University, BS Aeronautical Engineering, Class of 1947.WWII Veteran, Army Air Corps Cadet. Retired from Marmon Motor Company / Space Corporation of Garland, Texas, having enjoyed a long and rewarding engineering career there for over thirty-four years in a managerial capacity among long time colleagues who became post retirement friends, his corporate extended family. Trisagion Service will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 7:00pm at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 13555 Hillcrest Road (at Alpha Road). Funeral Services will be on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Pall-bearers are Steve Baker, Jimmy Christon, William Karahal, Steve Pakes, Vastan Tchokoev, Dean Xeros, Harry Yianitsas, and John Yianitsas. In lieu of florals, memorials may be made to Saint Barbara Philoptochos Society of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Dallas.
