Patrick Campo '13 November 20, 2014 12:38 PM

Clayton Funeral Home obituary

Campo, Patrick James

Patrick James Campo, 23, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014.  He is preceded in death by his brother, (Vincent) Joseph Campo, and grandfather, Vincent Joseph Campo.  Patrick is survived by his parents, Sammy and Lisa Campo; sister, Elizabeth Campo; brother, Stephen Campo; grandparents, Anna Campo, and Dr. and Mrs. William P. Deiss; aunts and uncles, Lew Benham, Ann and Erwin Wilbanks, Ann Marie and Dan Girardot, Mary Jo Campo, Charlie Campo, Katherine and James Williams, John and Heather Campo, Larry Benham; and a host of other family and friends.

Patrick loved soccer and played for 13 years.  He acquired a knack for tailgating with the “Oiler Army” at Pearland High School.  Patrick and his aunt exchanged and compared recipes. This love of grilling extended to his time at Texas A&M, where he could be found cooking for his friends.  Patrick loved the outdoors and fishing and hunting.  He cherished the early weekend mornings at the duck lease with his friends, and his girl Molly, his black Lab, who was rewarded with kolaches after her work in the fields. Patrick lived every day to its fullest. He was the life of the party, and never met a stranger.  Patrick shared his Paw-Paw’s work ethic and his love of family.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but his spirit will live on through his family and friends.

A visitation for Patrick will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The funeral service will take place Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father Charles Borski and Father James Courville officiating.  Interment will take place at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
