Chad Alan Marek
April 2, 1971 - October 10, 2014

Chad Alan Marek 43, of Crosby, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2014. Chad was born on April 2, 1971 in Bellville, Texas to Perry and Georgia (Klinkovsky) Marek. Chad graduated from Texas A&M University and was the Director of Finance for Texas City ISD. Chad has lived in the Crosby area for the last 13 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. When Chad was not busy working he enjoyed playing golf, listening to Rock and Roll Music, watching the Dallas Cowboys play and most of all spending time with his friends and family (especially his children, nieces and nephews). Chad was a very caring, giving and selfless man who be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Georgia Marek; grandfathers, Otto Marek, Joe Klinkovsky Jr. and grandmother, Nervie Marek. Chad is survived by his loving wife, Abby Roder Marek of Crosby; daughter, Lainey Kathleen; sons, Cal Alan and Case Alan; grandmother, Viola Klinkovsky of Damon; sister, Michelle Marek Heinschel and husband Bruce of Bellville and their children Tyler, Bret and Haley; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 5-8pm with a rosary starting at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 915 Runneburg Rd. Crosby, Texas 77532. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Chads’ memory to the American Heart Association P.O. Box 841125 Dallas, Texas 75284-1125.
