David Snyder(1960 - 2014)
November 4, 1960 - September 4, 2014
David Snyder, beloved father, husband, brother, son, and friend, passed away September 4, 2014. Dave was born in Sherman, Texas, on November 4, 1960, and although he lived on or near Air Force bases across the nation - from California to Massachusetts - throughout his childhood, he considered Texas to be his home. Dave graduated from Bedford High School in Bedford, Massachusetts, while living on Hanscom AFB, then relocated to Austin, Texas, with his family in 1978 upon his father's retirement from the USAF. After working and playing in Austin for a year, Dave attended Texas A&M University where he performed countless pushups as a member of the Corps of Cadets (Squadron 15), met his future wife, and graduated with a BS in Agricultural Economics (Class of 1983). From a car dealership to a pet store, Dave worked a variety of jobs related to many of his passions; however his primary career was with Farmers Insurance in claims management. Dave is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joanie; son Paul Robert; daughter Emily; parents Patricia and Phillip; brother Paul Eric; grandmother Hellen Snyder; aunt Paula Garth (husband Jay); aunt Evelyn Sigler (husband Neil); an army of loyal friends, dogs Buddy and Dez, and many tortoises, turtles and lizards.

Among his hobbies, Dave most loved fast cars, rock 'n roll, and exotic reptiles. Suffice to say, life with him was never boring. He was a friend to all, and a true Fightin' Texas Aggie.
