William “Bill” James Spencer
July 8, 1941 – August 20, 2014
Bill, 73, of Bryan, went to be with his Lord on August 20, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Calvary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 2009 Cavitt Ave. in Bryan.
Bill was born on July 8, 1941 to Camilla (Whitsell) and John Spencer in Climax, Texas. He graduated from A&M in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science, later he received his masters degree in Industrial Education.
He loved to hunt, to fish, and spend time with his friends. Bill loved his dog R. C. He lived life to the fullest and will be forever missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Spencer
Bill leaves behind two brothers, Perran Spencer and wife Nancy, Nathan Young, and wife Kathy, three nephews, Dennis Spencer and wife Stephanie, Russell Spencer and wife Terran, and Christopher Young, six nieces and nephews, Connor, Evan, Abbie Spencer, Austin and Ethan Spencer and Kieran Young and his loved friends Butch Crook, Jim Dawson and Bobby Lebow.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the local animal shelter or the USO.
