James Harrison
James M. Harrison, 81, passed away August 18, 2014, and has taken his place to sing and play his beloved guitar with God's heavenly choir. Preceded in death by his parents W.W. (Bill) and Allie Harrison, and infant brother Willis, Jim is survived by his loving
wife of 57 years, Nancy, and their beloved children: son Willis (Kim), daughters Merri Dornier (Carl), and Cathy Harrington (Chuck), and their precious grandchildren Kasey Harrison, Jimmy Dornier and Cati and Savannah Harrington, and step-grandchildren C.E.
Harrington and Timothy, Matt, and Chloe Collins. A graduate of Alamo Heights High School where he was a member of the choir and band and Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Singing Cadets, Jim served with the U.S. Air Force before beginning a
53 year career in the oil industry, beginning with Humble Oil. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Coker United Methodist Church, San Antonio at 11:00 AM Friday, August 22, 2014. Burial will be held at a later date in the historic Coker Cemetery
where he will join 5 generations of the Harrison family buried there.
