ROGER BROWNING WILLIAMS
WILLIAMS,
ROGER BROWNING
Roger Browning Williams, age 50, died July 21, 2014. He was a brilliant man with a remarkable capacity for humor, lasting friendship, love of sport, and genuine affection for his favorite living creature, a beautiful yellow Labrador named Georgia. Roger lived
his life in Austin where he graduated from High School as a National Merit Scholar and an All Central Texas Football Tackle. He earned a BS Degree in Biochemistry from Texas A&M, a BS in Chemical Engineering and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University
of Texas, and was a certified Patent Attorney.
He is survived by twin brothers, Sean and Kevin; his mother, Susan Mahoney and her husband Michael; his father, Roger C. Williams and his wife Sherry; and by many long friendships. A number of which were forged years ago on the searing August two-a-day playing
fields of Westlake. His death leaves an emptiness in us all and he will be missed.
A memorial service for Roger will be held at 3:00 o'clock on Thursday, July 31, at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church--West Oak Hill, 8724 Travis Hills Drive, Austin, Texas.
