Tony Maurice Highfield(1949 - 2014)
Tony Maurice Highfield, 65, of Fort Worth, formerly of Sulphur Springs, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, at a local hospital. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday in West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, Sulphur Springs, with Brother Pete Adrian officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Tony was born July 11, 1949, in Sulphur Springs to Elwood and Merle Highfield. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1969 and Texas A&M University in 1971. He was a certified real estate appraiser in Fort Worth for many years. He was preceded in death by his father and younger brothers, David and Steve. Survivors: In addition to his mother, Merle, he is survived by his wife, Marcia; his son, Wesley Highfield, his wife, Linda, and their children, Jacob and Caitlin, of Pearland; daughter, Haley Holliday, her husband, Seth, and their son, Holden, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and niece, Amy Highfield of Sulphur Springs.
