Dr. Frances Ann Lavergne

Dr. Frances Ann Lavergne, [67], of Tomball, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph P. Daleo officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange on Aug. 9, 1945, Frances was the daughter of Leo and Rosa (Comeaux) Lavergne. She received her Doctorate in Elementary Curriculum from Texas A&M University, and retired from Tomball ISD where she was Director of Special Services.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mariam Lincecum; Frances is survived by her sister, Alice McCray and husband, Wayne of Orange; nieces and nephews, Karen Moore, Phyllis Hamilton, Roger Lincecum, Homer Lincecum, Michael Howard, Gina Farrell and Clancey McCray; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
