VELASCO
Eduardo Velasco, 82, of San Antonio, Texas passed away June 10, 2014 peacefully with his family beside him. Eddie a San Antonio native attended Jefferson High School, Graduated Texas A&M in 1960 and served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1955, aboard the U.S.S. T.E. Chandler.
After leaving the Navy Eddie joined the family business Amigo's Tortillas. Thereafter he began his career as a Mechanical Engineer in Civil Service, retiring from Kelly Air Force Base after 30 years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by wife, Lynette Vealasco. Eduardo is survived by his wife of 29 years Margaret; daughters Monette Velasco, Tracy and Bubba Meyers; Son Jeff and Shelly Velasco; Grandchildren, Brandon Meyers, Cody Randolph, Addison Velasco; Brother, Mike Velasco.
SERVICES
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM with a rosary to follow at 7:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando II.
