Garrett Wade Staats

Garrett Wade Staats passed away on Thursday, March 20th at the age of 43 years.

Garrett Staats is survived by his mother and spouse: Lorna and Gary Eckhardt of Fredericksburg, Father: Bobby Staats of Fredericksburg, Fiancé: Kim Dismukes and her son: Garrett Bowers, Sister and spouse: Jennifer and Richard Terry of Fredericksburg, Grandparents: Dayton and Mary Lou Kuhlmann of Fredericksburg, Niece and nephew: Cade and Anna Terry.

The body will lie in state in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg until 9:45 A.M. on Tuesday, March 25th with Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 A.M. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Enda McKenna officiating.

Graveside services and interment with military honors will follow at the Staats Family Cemetery.

For those who so desire you may make memorial contributions in his memory to the Chris Staats Memorial Scholarship Fund or to the charity of your choice.

A vigil service will be held on Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.

Visitation for Garrett Staats will begin on Monday, March 24th from 4:00 till 7:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, March 25th from 7:00 till 9:45 A.M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
