Carolyn C. "Nina" Lane
Lane, Carolyn C. Nina b July 12 1961, passed away April 1, 2014. Born in El Paso, TX. Longtime resident of Webster Groves, MO. Graduated Coronado High School, Texas A&M University. Received her Master's in Library Science from University of Missouri and worked for many years in the libraries of the Webster Groves School District. Loving wife and mother, powerful listener, and a quiet and gentle guide to her children and their friends. Ardent supporter of idealism, activism, human rights, and equality for all. Lover of books, horses, and college basketball. Preceded by father, Pete, and mother, Shirley. Survived by husband, James W. Lane; daughters, Robin and Catherine; dog Juno; brothers John and Lee; sister, Cate, and countless friends and neighbors who continue to love and support the Lane family. Services: We will celebrate her life with a casual memorial gathering at the Humboldt North Pavilion in Tower Grove Park, 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 5th.
