Pike Jr., Joe V. passed away, Friday, January 3, 2014 at age 86. Dear husband of Carolyn (nee O'Glee). Dear father of Susan (Robert) Hughes of Kirkwood, James (Virginia) Pike of Defiance, Kathryn (Robert) Bissell of Chattanooga, TN., and Elizabeth (Tim) Franke of Austin, TX. Loving grandfather of Randall Bissell, Sarah Snyder, Evelyn Bissell, Joshua Pike, Samantha Clarkson, Emily Franke, Brian Franke and Nathaniel Franke. Dear great grandfather of Landry Pike, Maclin Pike and Alexander Snyder. Dear brother of Sue Paschall. Loving brother-in-law of John (Judy) O'Glee. Dear uncle, great uncle and friend to many. Mr. Pike is retired from Southwestern Bell. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University '49, and Washington University in St. Louis. He was a veteran of the United States Military Service and a 32nd degree Mason. Services: Memorial service at Manchester United Methodist Church, 129 Woods Mill Road, Manchester, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial visitation at the church Saturday from 1-2 pm. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
