Saving Tips
It is recommended to set aside an amount each month to go towards your Aggie Ring purchase. Monthly savings add up over time and lower the financial impact of ordering an Aggie Ring.
Accepted Forms of Payment
Full payment is due at the time of order. Accepted forms of payment are:
- Cash
- Check (made payable to Association of Former Students)
- Any major credit/debit card (cardholder must be present or an invoice with a payment link can be emailed to the cardholder at the time of order; if invoiced, payment is due by the last day of the order session)
Aggie Ring Loans
The Association provides Aggie Ring loans to qualified and currently enrolled full or half-time students through the Short-Term Loan (STL) Program administered by Scholarships and Financial Aid.
CURRENT STUDENTS: How to apply for an Aggie Ring loan for the April delivery:
- Check your Ring Eligibility online (Jan.1-Feb. 19) before applying for a Ring loan.
- If eligible, complete the STL application prior to your Ring appointment or submitting your order online.
- College Station Campus: Present your signed Promissory Note, paper or electronic version, to the Ring Assistant during your Ring appointment.
- Online orders: Add "Ring Loan" in the NOTES section of the order.
- It may take up to 10 business days to receive the funds in your designated bank account. Ring loan funds will not automatically apply to your Aggie Ring. To finalize your order, you must pay for your Aggie Ring in person or online using the invoice that was emailed to you, or else contact the Aggie Ring Office.
- Interest rates and processing fees are available online.
Aggie Ring loan criteria:
- The student must meet be eligible to order an Aggie Ring after the Fall 2023 semester.
- The student must be enrolled at least half-time.
- The student must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Aggie Ring Scholarships
Notices regarding the scholarships available for the September 2023, November 2023 or April 2024 Aggie Ring Deliveries were made in May 2023.
(Current students who are military veterans, contact A&M’s Veteran Resource and Support Center to apply through the Aggie Rings for Student Veterans program.)
To apply for an Aggie Ring Scholarship:
- Log in and complete the University Scholarship Application between Oct. 15, 2023, and Feb. 1, 2024.
- On the Eligibility tab of the application, complete the following question: "Do you anticipate receiving your Aggie Ring in September 2024, November 2024 or April 2025?"
- Scholarships and Financial Aid will notify students in April 2024 if they have been selected to receive the Aggie Ring Scholarship.
- If you receive the Aggie Ring Scholarship: Once you meet the requirements, you will need to verify your eligibility and schedule an appointment online to order your Aggie Ring at the Aggie Ring Office.
- If you do not receive the Aggie Ring Scholarship: You may consider applying for an Aggie Ring Loan through the Short Term Loan Office.

- The student must be enrolled at least half-time.
- The student must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress.
