Howdy! 2015 begins my 12th year in education. I started my career as a Kindergarten teacher in Southside ISD at Heritage Elementary. This begins my 8th year as an administrator, I have served as a Math Instructional Specialist, Vice Principal and for the past 5 years I was the Principal at Somerset Elementary. I received my BA in Political Science.
I received my MA in Education Leadership with Principal and Superintendent certification in 2006 from UTSA. I am currently working on my dissertation and am a doctoral candidate at UTSA. I am originally from Pleasanton, TX. I am now back at Southside ISD where I serve as the Elementary Curriculum Coordinator.
