Michael E. & Rita A. Richardson's Family Update

Howdy!
Michael E. Richardson ‘84 and I, Rita (Navarro) Richardson ’84, have been married for 26 years and live in San Antonio. Mike retired as a Lt. Col. (Air Force) in May 2012. He is a Systems Engineer at MITRE Corporation. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in August 2012 by flying to Las Vegas to get our vows renewed by an Elvis impersonator.
We have three children - Emmy ’11 (24), Maggie (19), and Andy (18). Emmy married Clinton Anderson '11 in January 2012 after they both graduated from A&M in December 2011. Emmy and Clinton are living and working in College Station, Emmy as an entrepreneur and Clinton at Fuel Cells Etc.
Maggie is a sophomore Film and Television Major at New York University (NYU). She is the recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship which has given her the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico, Washington D.C., and Israel (spring ’14).
Andy is living with Maggie in NYC. He is an actor currently performing on Broadway in Disney’s NEWSIES. He has been with NEWSIES since it started as a regional production, and with the show, has performed at the Tony Awards, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and “Good Morning America.” In addition, Andy is a full-time student at NYU. He is majoring in Musical Theater and American Sign Language.
Mike and I are looking forward to the Class of ‘84’s 30-year reunion this year!! Can’t wait to see everyone!!
