Aggies Can, the largest student-athlete-run canned food drive in the United States, continues through Saturday, Oct. 28.

Look for Texas A&M student athletes collecting canned foods at various Aggie sports events this week. They are easy to spot in their lime green T-shirts.

Anyone bringing four or more canned goods will receive free admission to any of these events:

  • Sunday, Oct. 22 -- Soccer vs. Vanderbilt at 1:30 p.m. at Ellis Field.
  • Sunday, Oct. 22 --  Volleyball vs. Ole Miss at 3:30 p.m. at Reed Arena
  • Thursday, Oct. 26 -- Maroon Madness basketball season tip-off event at 6:30 p.m. at Reed Arena.
  • Friday, Oct. 27 -- Volleyball vs. Tennessee at 6:30 p.m. at Reed Arena.

Food and cash donations will also be accepted prior to the football game vs. Mississippi State on Saturday, Oct. 28 (free admission offer does not apply).

Fans who make a donation will receive a coupon for a free Whataburger (while supplies last).

Aggies Can was started in 2000 by student athletes who wanted to give back the community. All proceeds benefit the Brazos Valley Food Bank, Built to Help Others and The 12th Can. For more information, visit 12thman.com/aggiescan.
