AKA, Dan Markham, died on Friday, March 31 of natural causes at his residence in Arlington, Texas.

Dan is survived by his sister, Debye Cox and her husband, Jerry of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and his niece, Keli Moore, her husband, Jason, and their children Carter and Madison of Combine, Texas. Preceded in death by his father, Thomas Leo Markham and mother, Wanda Markham.

Some of Danny's proudest accomplishments included being a graduate of Texas A&M University in 1972, serving in the Army as Second Lieutenant, and receiving his Master's at Central Michigan University. Some of his latest accomplishments included being a Gideon Brother for the past 10 years, and an Usher at Faith Christian Center.

He was born on January 3, 1950 in Lubbock, Texas. He spent many of his younger years in Post, Texas and Anton, Texas. His adult life was spent in Detroit, Michigan, Odessa, Texas and the Houston area working at Stewart and Stevenson and the last 17 years in Arlington, Texas as a Financial Advisor. He loved to go to the movies, hunt, and watch high school and college sports. He also spent many hours volunteering at his church, Faith Christian Center.

The viewing will be held on Friday, April 7 from 5-8 PM at the Moore Bowen Funeral Home at 4216 Bowen Road in Arlington, Texas. The funeral will be on Saturday, April 8 at 10 AM at the Moore Bowen Funeral Home on 4216 Bowen Road in Arlington, Texas. The Burial will be on Tuesday, April 11 at 1 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Texas A&M Corp. Scholarship Fund, Gideon's, or Faith Christian Center.
