DR. BURTON WILLIAM HINK, JR.

Dr. Burton William Hink, Jr. 88, of Texas City passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. He was born June 7, 1928 in San Angelo, Texas to Burton and Berenice Hink.

He was a resident of Texas City since 1960. Dr. Hink served in the U.S. Army M.A.S.H. Unit in Korea. He was a member of the First Christian Church; he graduated from Texas A&M in 1949 and completed his residency in 1960 and then started his Medical practice at Beeler-Manske Clinic in Texas City.
Dr. Hink was a Past President of Galveston Medical Society and Galveston County Medical Hospital; he was a member of the American College of Surgeons, Texas Surgeon Society and A.O.P.A.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Georgia Goeters.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda Hink, of Texas City, daughter Carolyn Wolfstein ; sons Ron Kennedy and Steve Kennedy; two brothers Sherman Hink and Fred Hink; five grandchildren Sean Adair, Benjamin Kennedy, Sarah Kennedy, Eddie Kennedy and Zachary Kennedy.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1:00pm– 2:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
