In March, the Greek Former Student Network hosted its 5th Annual Aggie Greek Awards Banquet. This event honors all Aggies involved in Greek life and brings together the chapters, student leaders, advisors and former students to celebrate the impact they have made on the Aggie community. During the banquet, several students were recognized for their accomplishments and dedication, and the recipients of the President's Award for Oustanding Greek Ambassador, Sorority Woman of the Year and Fraternity Man of the Year awards were announced.
Katie Brucher '19 of Kappa Delta is the 2017 recipient of the President's Award for Outstanding Greek Ambassador. In order to be an outstanding Greek ambassador at Texas A&M, one must serve selflessly across campus while promoting what it means to be an Aggie Greek. In addition to her involvement in Kappa Delta, Katie serves all across campus in Freshman Business Initiative, Fish Camp, Student Government and MSC Lead. Her peers describe her as “a leader who is always willing to go above and beyond what is required of her” and "someone who has shown that sorority women are smart, driven, passionate, caring, organized, ambitious, and so much more."
