David Clay Biediger
May 22, 1959 - January 30, 2017

David Clay Biediger of San Antonio, Texas passed away on January 30, 2017 at the age of 57 after a long battle with liver disease. He was born May 22, 1959 in Clovis, New Mexico. After he graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 1977, he obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and later a Master's degree in Computer Science from Southwest Texas State University. David worked for several companies and ended his career as a Systems Analyst for Lockheed Martin Corporation. David was an avid Aggie football fan and could be found cheering them on every game day. He enjoyed hosting Bar-B-Ques, was famous among friends for his Red Dog Chili Powder, and dreamed of owning a food truck in Alaska. He loved to ride his bicycle and competed in numerous long distance bicycle rides including the MS-150 to raise awareness for multiple sclerosis. David was a kind and generous man who often gave to charities including . He was preceded in death by his Father, Colonel Larry W. Biediger of Castroville, Texas. He is survived by his mother Julie D. Biediger of Universal City, Texas, his daughters and son-in-law Katina Hoag of Austin, Texas, Shannon Biediger of Houston, Texas, Emma and Damian Hubbs of Beeville, Texas, and grandchildren Windy and Caleb Knapp of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by his brothers and sister and their spouses William and Geri Biediger of Schertz, Texas, Amy and Doug Byrom of Smithville, Texas, and Matthew Biediger of Canyon Lake, Texas. A memorial service and BBQ will be at Bill and Tura Wilkinson's home in Bandera, TX on April 1st. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made in David's honor to .
