Funeral services for Kenneth J. Breazeale, 86, of Troup, will be held at the University Church of Christ in Tyler, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11am. Minister Neal Thurman will be officiating the service with interment at Pinecrest Cemetery under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Kenneth Breazeale passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. He was born September 6, 1930 in Mullin, Texas to Willie Breazeale and Pearl Pittman Breazeale. Kenneth was a member of the American Society Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the chairman of the student section at Texas A&M University for ASME, and a member of Tau Beta Pi, the National Engineering Honor Society. He retired from Chevron USA as an AREA Superintendent after 29 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary "Tommie" Breazeale, and a brother, Billy Breazeale.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth "Rusty" Breazeale, Jr & wife Tammy of Fairview and daughter, Kelly Breazeale Matthis & husband Bill of Austin; two grandchildren, Alexis Breazeale and Spencer Breazeale; two nephews, Brett Breazeale & wife Jenny, and Kent Breazeale; one great niece, Lauren Breazeale and one great nephew, Luke Breazeale.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkland Hospital Burn Unit at 5200 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, TX 75235 or the Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County at 211 Winchester Drive, Tyler, TX 75701.
