The Association of Former Students host an annual "Hot Diggity Dog" Cookout! Join us for free hotdogs and drinks while meeting your new classmates. You can even get a taste of one of the most eagerly anticipated Aggie Traditions by trying on an Aggie Ring. Come join the fun!
History of Hot Diggity Dog
Hot Diggity Dog is a cookout welcoming new students to campus, hosted by The Association of Former Students, Texas A&M University’s alumni organization. This is a key event of Gig ’Em Week, Texas A&M University’s official week of welcome activities. Hot Diggity Dog offers the incoming class the opportunity to mingle with Classmates while enjoying free hotdogs and drinks in a festive environment. Students are encouraged to try on their class' Aggie Ring, getting an early taste of one of Texas A&M's most honored traditions! This is the first of many events hosted by The Association of Former Students welcoming incoming students into the Aggie family.
