Howdy, Sul Ross Ags!

Plans are being made for a tremendous Sul Ross Group Reunion for March 3-5, 2015, Tuesday through Thursday. We look forward to inducting the Class of '60 into the Group.

The university will be in session during this time, allowing us to schedule some interesting events and speakers and to interact with students. This will make it possible for us to receive the greatest amount of information and be brought up to date concerning our university.

The Headquarters Hotel for the Reunion is the College Station Hilton. Please note the deadline for registering on this page or the registration form. It will be to your advantage to register as soon as possible. Remember that you can always cancel if something unforeseen arises. Please pay attention to The Association's cancellation policy as well as the hotel's policy.

While the registration form for the Reunion activities was mailed out, we do encourage everyone to register online. Check-in time with The Association of Former Students' staff will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, the 3rd. You can find out at that time the location of the hospitality room and dinner for your particular Class at the registration area. In order to qualify for an individual Class Dinner, a Class must have at least 40 pre-registered attendees. If your Class does not qualify for a separate dinner, you will still be able to sit together as a Class at the Cluster Dinner and hear a wonderful keynote address by Dr. Brett P. Giroir, Exec. Vice President & CEO, Texas A&M Health Science Center.

Our ladies are welcome to attend all functions. However, while Wednesday's business meeting is going on, they have the option of being entertained in the Board of Regents Quarters.

The ladies will then join the men for the luncheon featuring keynote speaker, Interim President Mark Hussey '79, who will speak to us on the state of the university. Wednesday afternoon we arranged for a campus bus tour or time has been left open for you to visit with classmates and friends in the hospitality rooms.

Wednesday night will be the annual Dinner and Dance with music by the Aggieland Orchestra. BG Joe Ramirez '79 will speak to us on the state of the Corps. This is an address we always look forward to. The dance floor will then be open for those who wish to use it.

Breakfast on Thursday morning will feature comments from Kyle Kelly '14, the Student Body President and David Triggs '15, Cadet Corps Commander.

Sul Ross Group members have done so much for the school we love, and the Executive Board appreciates this more than you know. There is one more thing we need to do and that is to try to send in another $100.

As you will remember, in an effort to continue giving back to our beloved university, the Sul Ross Group Board has agreed on a new goal over the next three years – to raise eight more $25,000 scholarships for the Corps. We, as a group, committed to raise $200,000 in three years to fund these additional scholarships. See details in the registration packet regarding the project.

We are hoping for an outstanding Reunion turnout. Getting to visit and to know each other better will make this a very interesting and rewarding time.

Mike Trotter '55
President, Sul Ross Group
