KYLE FIELD TOUR
Don't miss this special tour! Get an up close and personal tour of the newly renovated Kyle Field. Your Class will have the opportunity to go inside Kyle Field and see the behind the scene operations of a stadium that holds over 102,000 spectators. Highlights include: the Hall of Champions, Bright Complex, and suites. Due to recent changes in NCAA rules and the feeding of student athletes, lunch will no longer be provided for those that choose the first tour starting at 11:00 a.m. The second tour starts at 4:00 p.m. For those taking either tour please meet at the North East Tower ticket entrance to Kyle Field 10 minutes prior to the tour time. This is the brick tower that connects the student section to the North Zone and is located across from the MSC and Koldus. Please click here for a map of where to meet for the tour.
GUIDED CAMPUS TOUR
Please arrive 15 minutes early for the campus tour starting at the Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center on the 1st floor of Rudder Tower . This walking tour will take you around mainside campus, which has undergone recent renovations and additions. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and dress comfortably. There will also be a chance to see how current students live in the new Hullabaloo Dorm located on Northside.
QUAD TOUR
The Corps of Cadets is around 2,400 strong for the Fall of 2015. There have been lots of changes on the Quadrangle since 1990 to include the addition of two Leadership Learning Centers and the dorm rooms received a whole new look. Duncan Dining Hall was also renovated. The Quad Master Plan is currently ongoing to renovate all the dorms, landscape the Quad, and build a new Music Activities Center. Register for this tour and walk through the new spaces with the Commandant Staff! Cadets may or may not be able to join the tour since they will be working hard to finish the epic journey of Corps Brass. You can visit the Department of Residence Life's website for details regarding the Quad construction or visit the Corp's Facebook page for updates. Meet at the front of Duncan Dining Hall for the tour at 4:00 p.m.
RING DAY VOLUNTEERS
On Friday Nov. 20, The Association of Former Students will be hosting Ring Day. Even though this is the smallest Ring Day of the year, The Association still needs volunteers to help hand out Aggie Rings. If you would like to be a part of a student receiving their Aggie Ring, please volunteer. There are limited spots available so please contact Joshua Garcia '13 at the Aggie Ring Programs Office as soon as possible if you are interested in assisting.
UNIVERSITY ARCHITECT PRESENTATION
Lilia Gonzalez '94 is the University Architect for Texas A&M and is responsible for the planning, preservation, and development of campus architecture. She works on both the Campus Master Plan and District Plans. At dinner on Friday Nov. 20, she will present the campus in 1990 and overlay that with the current campus. In addition she will present recently completed projects, buildings under construction, and the future Campus Master Plan. The presentation will have numerous pictures depicting the beauty of Texas A&M, so don't miss out on this opportunity.
GOLF
For the Class of '90 golfers, we invite you to make tee times on Saturday at the newly renovated Texas A&M Campus Course. Please feel free to make reservations on your own by contacting the Pro Shop at 979-845-1723. The Class of 1990 did not make any reservations at the golf course, so it is first come first serve on tee times. We encourage you to make reservations early because the golf course is busy on the weekends.
BENJAMIN KNOX GALLERY SOCIAL
Our Class will hold a Class social at the Benjamin Knox Gallery either prior to or after the game depending on the kickoff time. Benjamin, Class of '90, is a well known artist in College Station for his ability to capture the Spirit of Aggieland in his paintings and sketches. Join your Classmates for a drink at The Depot near the campus. For more information regarding the Benjamin Knox Gallery location please visit their website. You do not need to register for this event as it is a come and go social with a cash bar in The Depot. The outside patio is also available for seating granted weather cooperates. We hope to see you there.
