Campus Parking Information

Transportation to all events is on your own. Please note: Friday, Sept. 19 is Aggie Ring Day and traffic will be heavier than usual. There is limited parking available in University Center Garage (attached to Koldus) on Friday evening for our reception at the Sanders Corps Center. If the University Center Garage is full, more spots are available in the Central Campus Garage or West Campus Garage. Be sure to check with Transportation Services for more information at http://transport.tamu.edu/parking/visitor.aspx. For our Game Watching Party on Saturday, parking will be available in the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center lot.

Reunion Accommodations

A block of rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, for the Class of '56 Fall Mini Reunion. Make your reservations by calling the College Station TownePlace Suites directly before September 5, 2014 at 979-260-8500. Be sure to reference the Group Code: Class of '56 Mini Reunion to receive the rate of $89 per night, plus tax. If you prefer to stay at another hotel in the area, please call the Accommodations Hotline at 979-260-9898 to check on hotel availability in the area. You may also go to the Bryan-College Station Accommodations website to book a room. Hotels in close proximity to the TownePlace Suites are Hilton, Hyatt Place, Hawthorne Suites, Comfort Suites, Homewood Suites, Residence Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Call today!

Please contact the hotel directly NOW to reserve your room. We will plan the weekend around the “to-be-determined” game time. We will have a meal and watch the game in the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center. Activities will include the game-watching party on Saturday, a Friday evening meal at the Sander’s Corps Center and great fellowship with Classmates and guests. Reunion Registration & Check In

After securing your room reservation, you can print out and return the Reunion Registration Form by mail to The Association of Former Students, 505 George Bush Dr., College Station, TX 77840, ATTN: Class of '56 Mini Reunion; FAX 979-845-9263; or you can register online

If you have any questions, please contact the Former Student Programs office at The Association of Former Students at 800-633-7514. 

Your nametags, an updated schedule of events and a list of pre-registered participants will be waiting for you at the Reunion Check-In Desk, which will be located at each event throughout the weekend.

Walk-up Registration will be accepted based on availability. To ensure your admission, register before the September 5 deadline. All registrations received after the deadline will incur a $10 late fee.

Cancellation Policy

The Association of Former Students has a fairly flexible cancellation policy. If you cannot attend your Reunion, or an event for which you have registered, please contact the Former Student Programs office (800-633-7514) no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014. Your payment will be refunded with the exception of a small handling fee. Registration changes after the September 12 deadline cannot be refunded as food orders will have been guaranteed
