Howdy, ’54 Ags and families!

The Association of Former Students and the Sanders Corps Center are rolling out the “maroon carpet” for us at our upcoming 60th Anniversary Reunion on October 17-19. What an outstanding way for us to reconnect with our beloved Texas A&M University and one another after these many years and much water under the bridge. We have put together an outstanding program for us, our wives, families and friends who plan to join us for this incredible weekend. 

This Reunion will help up renew the Aggie Spirit, our ’54 camaraderie, hear an update on the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets, see the unbelievable changes on campus (including the awe-inspiring Kyle Field redevelopment), swap a few war stories, enjoy delicious food and fellowship, then help the Ags BTHO Alabama in the comfortable setting of the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center (namesake of our Classmate and friend, Claytie Williams and his charming wife, Modesta).

Campus Parking Information
Transportation to all events is on your own. Things may have changed on campus since your last visit. For parking and/or campus maps visit the Transportation Services website at http://transport.tamu.edu/parking/visitor.aspx. For Friday, you can park in University Center Garage attached to Koldus for a small fee. For Saturday, you can park in the lot outside of the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center. Other garage spots and spaces may be available on campus. Be sure to check with Transportation Services for more information.

*The Class block of rooms is currently SOLD OUT. Please check with the Accommodations Hotline for a list of available rooms. 
A block of rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, for the Class of '54 60th Reunion. Make your reservations by calling Hawthorn Suites directly before September 17, 2014 at 979-695-9500. Be sure to reference the Group Code: CG1954 or Group Name: Texas A&M Class of 1954 to receive the rate of $119 per night, plus tax. If you prefer to stay at another hotel in the area, please call the Accommodations Hotline at 979-260-9999 to check on hotel availability in the area. You may also go to the Bryan-College Station Accommodations website to book a room. Hotels in close proximity to the Hilton are Hyatt Place, Hilton, Comfort Suites and Holiday Inn Express. Your nametags, an updated schedule of events and a list of pre-registered participants will be waiting for you at the Reunion Check-In Desk, which will be located at each event throughout the weekend.

Walk-up Registration will be accepted based on availability. To ensure your admission, register before the October 3 deadline. All registrations received after the deadline will incur a $10 late fee.

We will have a table set up at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center on Saturday for you to display memorabilia from your days in Aggieland. Please bring whatever items you would like to display for all of your Classmates to see and reminisce over!

Cancellation Policy
The Association of Former Students has a fairly flexible cancellation policy. If you cannot attend your Reunion, or an event for which you have registered, please contact the Former Student Programs office (800-633-7514) no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10. Your payment will be refunded with the exception of a small handling fee. Registration changes after the October 10 deadline cannot be refunded as food orders will have been guaranteed.
